On the coffee thing---I'm very particular about my coffee, (just like women), only a certain kind will do. and on the women thing, if they all get weeded out, why heck , they're a lotta' trouble anyway, (some more than others)----------An' don't be bringin' up that little "priorities" ditty I wrote. That was just the first step. There were lots more criteria besides that.
On kids, cats and cookies,----hmmm, that 'literates pretty good.
I'm not sure how discriminating 10 year old kids and 12 year old cats are <G>

Apple pie-----Well, pie is probably a bit beyond my expertise but right about the Northern apples. I tell ya' those apples in OK weren't worth "nothin'. Didn't have no taste at all. Least not the tree in our yard. Must take that cold weather. I liked the old Winesaps.
I guess ol' Brett Favre showed 'em . First thing in overtime threw this looong touchdown pass. He said in the interview, (I know all you gals are interested in this <G>,) anyway, says, "I may pull a muscle showing I can still do it, but I "can" still do it."
As far as glasses---it's gettin' so I can see better without 'em . Don't know if that means I can see better or I need new glasses

I see ol' Tampa is up to his famous trick of doin' strange stuff with animals!! now he wants ta canoodle with chickens? Hmmmm...that is more'n I wanted to know about!! Something is just WRONG with that one!

SOME kids and SOME cats are rather fussy eaters ya know! Trubble is...when they're hungry, ya just never know WHAT they'll decide to eat. Cookies are usually a safe bet with kids...but cats? LOL I never quite figured on that one.

Winesaps are good eatin' apples...but for me...the best pie-bakin' apples are a mixture of Wealthy and Northern Spy apples. Trubble is, you just cain't get Wealthies anywhere except at an orchard because those trees only bear apples every other year. Tough for an orchard owner to make any money that way...but durn...they are WUNNERFUL pie apples!!! Won me the purple ribbon grand prize at the Minnesota State Fair the only year I entered and I KNOW it was because of the apples I used. I love baking pies...I just cain't eat much of that sorta stuff. I sure miss makin' my own apple cider 'n apple butter every fall. Still have the old 500 lb cider press though.

As for coffee...I love the smell of fresh coffee...but coffee doesn't like me.

My pizza tasted purty good too!! Been a long time since I had me one'a those.

Too bad ol' men hafta pull a muscle just ta show they can still "do it"!!! Guess wimmin ain't that stoopid!!

Yep, cats ARE strange, just like some ol' 'mudgeons I know!! VERY strange!!

As for Favre...he was just lucky 'bout the not pullin' a muscle thang. Once in awhile, even OL' men get lucky!! Ya know that after 50...what hurts don't work an' whut don't work hurts too...errr sumpthin' like that. LOL I gots lots'a them things whut don't work these days!! 'N lots'a things whut hurt too!! Prolly not quite as many as Ms Boo Boo though!!

I'm home, hangin' out with my son & my granddaughter. They got home about 9 last night. McKayla is full of fire today! She's on her car right now - saying vroom vroom - Tracy would be very proud! A few minutes ago she was laying on the floor, pretending to sleep & pretending to snore - sounds very much like her granddaddy that she visited over the weekend!

Ummm - pot roast & veggies for supper! cooked in the crock pot all day - Yummy!

Been invited to a lunch birthday party at my fav'rit restaurant tomorrow...the local place where I go to listen to their songwriters night once a month. They bring in A-list songwriters! Great place. Just outside the back door from City Hall and on the town square. Great food!! Great people!! They really support songwriters. Judge's wife owns the place and the Judge is even a songwriter, good friend of Phil Everly!! That never hurts!

Was a very productive evening...so I figgered I'd entertain myself by checkin' in here to make sure Mudgie was well taken care of fer the evening!! LOL

Ha ha...I was just settin' up a smokescreen by bein' mellow yesterday!! Today, I'm back ta fightin' form! (whutever THAT is )

Guess half the cats in the new "neighborhood" musta read the sign on my house that sez "hey ya'all, there's a new cat lady in town...just go to the brick house with the big barn and jump in the window. She leaves it open just for us. Inside you'll find all kinds'a treats like milk 'n cookies!! She must be waitin' fur Santa Claws alreddy!! Just watch out fur the cat she lives with. She doesn't like trespassers, but if'n you kin get past her, the lady'll be good to you!"

This mornin' I woke up with a strange cat in my bedroom!! LOL So far I have seen three different ones in the house. Julia is ticked that I let 'em come in "HER" new house but she isn't doin' a whole lot ta keep 'em out. This morning's visitor was a gorgeous friendly (well-nourished) calico!! Of course I had left a dish of dry cat treats on top of one of the boxes I still have to unpack. Coulda been whut got the cat to come in there. I heard the crunch crunch crunch...turned and saw this purty kitty about 3 feet from my head! LOL Of course, whut woke me up was that Julia was GROWLING!! ROFL...she was lying on top of me watchin' this other cat eat HER food!! Not a happy camper. Guess I now know who ate the white chocolate macadamia nut cookies although this was not the same cat visitor I had two nights ago. He/she was a huge black kitty. How do they know about me so fast? LOL They must read the 'puter an' been seein' Wy yappin' bout wantin' some cookies. Now they're just laffin' at him cause THEY got to 'em first!! Never heard of a cat whut liked cookies. Julia won't even deign ta eat tuna fish outta the can!! LOL She's purty fussy.

Leastways it wasn't a raccoon or a 'possum like I had at Pineyhouse, or a skunk like came to visit me in my closet in Colorado. LOL

And yeah...I suspect Ms Charlann'll be a whole lot mellower AFTER she visits TN.

I dunno 'bout no 'compatible' men in Nashville!! I wonder if I plug that criteria into my navigational system, if it'd gimme directions ta locate one? LOL LOL Not that I'd know whut ta do if I DID find one. Guess I'd hafta ask Charlann 'bout that. Bet she knows whut ta do!! Seems my "talents" only work on cats.

But, first off, before I straighten Bobbelina out (again), it went like this-------Last couple days, I couldn't get on aol---software error, but could still get on ATT----Then this morning I got on ATT for a while and was trying to fix aol and the screen went blank---Turned off--Let it rest---turned on---black screen---2 or 3 rounds a' that-=-same thing . Called puter guys about a new one---all custom mades---a mite pricey for a po' boy. Did other stuff--Well I'll turn it on---prob'ly come right on, (Yeah right)---It comes on!!!!. Want's rebooted--Got 2 systems, (I'm sure you all are really interested in all this <G>)
2 systems---neither would work. OK, to , uh, heck with it . Turn off . Turn on later---System has recovered from a serious error,,blah, blah, blah---Calls for password---done---go to ATT--MSN comes up--Can't get ATT---Can't get aol---so, as of yet can't get any E mail---Googled JPF--Don't 'WANT" MSN ,so if you have any messages, you'll have to give 'em here I guess---Naah, at present you can PM me---Anyway, nothing Brian wouldn't approve
of though <G>. (Kaley has my address though if you wanta' send cookies <G>), (WEll, 'course "I've" got it too.)

Well, "you're" excused, since I asked you to come on the thread when I still had the black screen. Things are pretty shaky yet. I still get the software error from aol and the 'puter's not acting normally.. I should be able to get att back for communication though. I don't really wanta' start using MSN cause I've heard it's hard to get rid of. I may still have to get a new puter or put this one on the shop, but things are improved anyway. thanks for coming on .

There are a lot more of the white chocolate macadamia nut ones than there are the chocolate chunk ones...cause of the kids getting into them. And the cats didn't get to the ones I sent to you because I already had them boxed up and ready to mail. Cats just ate the ones I was going to give my neighbors. LOL

Glad they did arrive ok though. I was getting worried. They shoulda been there by yesterday.

Well, I was all set to believe that it had been a raccoon that had gotten in and chowed down on the cookies...except for the fact that I actually SAW 'em eating them!! Couldn't hardly believe my own eyes...but what can I say? It was cats! These aren't hardly hungry stray cats neither...they are well-fed neighbor cats. The calico one even got up close and wanted me to pet her...which of course I did. LOL I'da thought it might have been dogs too except the cookies had been up on the top of my cook island and most dogs would have been 1) too big to get in the slice of window and 2) not able to jump up on the island to get the cookies down. Cats are just more agile than most dogs...and better climbers.

I've heard'a them sites where you locate compatible folks. LOL Don't think I want one bad enuff ta bother!! Tain't worth the effort. They'd just holler'n beg fur cookies and pie. Yeah...I figger Charlann kin tell us all about whut ta do "after"...she clearly knows her canoodlin'!!

an' you KNOW I hadda send ya them cookies just to, once again...prove you were WRONG about me!! LOL 'course, I also KNEW you KNEW I would...so I did it anyway! I hate bein' predictable.
